Since we are living in Stockholm I’ve stopped baking/cooking my usual favorite desserts, mostly because I’m still discovering the supermarkets and the ingredients they’re selling. I have lot trouble finding the same sweeteners, flours what I was using at home.
But same time I’m experimenting some pretty cool new treats and my new favorites are the raw balls!
They are not only super healthy energy bombs, but pretty easy and fast to prepare!
The other day I made these coconut-almond-blueberry raw balls and they were something delicious!
No gluten, no dairy, no sugar.
I’m trying to eat as healthy as possible for a while now which is a quite a challenge sometimes, especially in a new environment, where we have to start building up our life from scratch. So it’s really heart-warming to discover a cool, healthy place which is perfect in all the aspects I’m finding important.
Let me introduce you STHLM Raw.
I have been thinking about this for a while.
I’m passionate about traveling and so much enjoy baking.
So, why not combinate the two and start a series of international baking?! This way, we can experience all the different kind of delicious sweets of different cultures in the warmth of our home. How does that sound?
And to start with something that is perfect as a weekend breakfast/brunch treat, I chose Danish pancakes.
Oh, I love to sit in my relaxing corner, on my little piece of grass, pillows, cozy lights… and a plate of delicious cookies!
This is winter about, isn’t it?!;)
Cheesecake is my secret addiction and I can not say no for a delicious looking recipe.
I don’t know about you but I’m using Pinterest a lot and everytime I see a foodporn photo, I immediately pin it and decide on preparing it myself!
Then there is a next day, a new delicious looking cake, a new pin, but nothing delicious on my kitchen table… Do you know the feeling?
So, not that I’m good in habits, but this week I challenged myself to bake/cook every week something I pinned on my Kitchen board on Pinterest.
I’ve always had a big passion for baking, that evolved into the love of preparing healthy sweets during the years.
It’s a great challenge to create something that is not only delicious and pretty, but something that won’t make you feel guilty and good for your body.
And it’s true the other way round. People always have the idea that if something was created in a new way, using healthy ingredients, avoiding sugar and white flour, then it tastes and looks horrible.
