“it’s free”

“a fire can be any shape it wants to be. It’s free. So it can look like anything at all depending on what’s inside the person looking at it. If you get this deep, quiet kind of feeling when you look at the fire, that’s because it’s showing you the deep, quiet kind of feeling you have inside yourself. You know what I mean?”

Faroe Islands, the Land of Maybes

day1-2-4

Have you ever felt like running away from the monotony and greyness of everydays? Have enough of the people surrounding you, the apathetic faces on the subway or the never ending noise and concrete jungle? Have you ever wanted to fly away to a tiny green island  where you can be alone, where you and your thoughts can relax in a small paradise?

Magic of the Northern Lights

2k

“We do not want merely to see beauty, we want to become part of it.” C.S. Lewis

I had a dream. I put it on my bucket list. I was dreaming about it again, I tried to chase it, I failed. But I was keeping my craving alive and so I achieved.

Up North

f4726c4e4c0bf0d874c8123c2e0f1cb5

This quote tells everything I’m feeling about Northern countries.
Doesn’t matter how much I love palm trees, swimming in the warm sea, sunbathing on the soft sand and feeling the rays of sun on my skin… It will never change anything about my passion about far away places up North…

Winter Wonderland

No doubt, my favorite sound on this Earth is the sound of the sea.
But what’s the second one?
It’s the sound of snow…

Generous Malta

1
I still owe a few travelogues belong to last year.
Actually I’m very proud as I had 7 amazing journeys!
But usually I’m just too busy enjoying the moment and making the most of my trip, that I just end up missing to post anything on my blog.

Although to tell about amazing places, I guess it’s never too late, so here I am with some pieces of Malta…

Rainbows, salty air and magic

f9ebcb9f0ad2c997c13b6fa6179e3c09
Sometimes I feel I’m in a dream.
Especially when I’m sitting in a cafe, sipping my almond latte, reading my book, thinking about what to write about.
Staring the people outside and the ones passing by the cafe. They are all different, they all pass by with a different reason, some to study, some are reading books, someone is meeting with an old friend, or a big group of tourists. But one thing is the same. They all seem to be busy, they all seem to know where are they coming from and where are they going to.
And when I look at me, I’m just the dreamer.

Pieces of Iceland, Day 4

Pieces of Iceland , Háilfoss

“Iceland, fortunate isle! Our beautiful, bountiful mother!
Where are your fortune and fame, freedom and virtue of old?
All things on earth are transient: the days of your greatness and glory
flicker like flames in the night, far in the depths of the past.
Comely and fair was the country, crested with snow-covered glaciers,
azure and empty the sky, ocean resplendently bright.”
/Jónas Hallgrimsson/

MondayTruth

mondaytruth

I couldn’t have said it better myself. That is exactly how I feel and that is what I say all the time when we talk about “What if you would win on the lottery…” kind of topics

I believe I have no big needs. I love the nice, I can enjoy the luxury, I don’t say I don’t like shopping and these kind of things.
But the true fact is, that I appreciate experience, real moments, an honest laugh so much more, than owning things, and having useless items.

I seriously think, if I would have a big amount of money in my pocket, I would use it to fulfill my endless passion to see this great big World!

Love & Peace x

Pieces of Iceland, day3

Pieces of Iceland, Þingvellir National Park

Iceland, I miss you every single day.
My eyes are still searching for the endless green and I have never heard the bird’s voice as loud as there.

Here are a few photos of our third day, when we visited Þingvellir National Park.
