May 2015 - Wild Compass 4freedom

I guess you all know how annoying it is to be photobombed by someone, especially when you are trying to be your own photographer and model the same type, concentrating on all the little details… Then you check the pictures and find someone unexpected. Yeah, this is what happened to me today when I was trying to take some photos after practicing yoga asanas. Everytime I took my cat somewhere else, by the time I got back to my position, she was there.
Actually by the end, I’ve found it pretty funny and I prefer the pics where she appears. Not to mention it might help you to forget about my imperfect pose!;)
Too cute to feel angry and if you come to think about it, cats are helping to relax and erase the stress!
Hope you had a fun day too! Namaste! x

Vitamin Juice

There is nothing greater than starting the morning full of energy, feeling you’re ready for a fantastic day!
I love to do something for my body before doing anything else, that multiples my motivation and inspires me to keep myself fit and healthy during the whole day!

Be Brave

“Move out of your comfort zone.

You can only grow if you are willing to feel
awkward and uncomfortable when you try
something new.”

Actually for today I was planning to post a vitamin-juice recipe, but the Universe had something else in mind, just found my SD card reader being broken, which makes it impossible to upload my photos.

But there is always something to write about, especially today, because I decided on stepping out of my comfort zone in a very sensitive, scary topic of mine, driving.

Buddha was asked,
“What have you gained
from meditation?”
He replied “Nothing!
However, let me tell you

depression, insecurity,

Rainbow – Original Oil Painting

“She never looked nice. She looked like art, and art wasn’t supposed to look nice, it was supposed to make you feel something.”
– Eleanor & Park

I painted this piece a couple of weeks ago and actually it was exhibited in a cozy art cafe right after it was ready, so I haven’t got the time till now to take photos and upload it into my Etsy shop.

“Our lives are made up of a series of moments. If you’re lucky, you’ll get to have hundreds even thousands of them. There will be small moments. Moments when you’re doing something so mundane you won’t realise you’re in a moment. There will also be big moments. Life changing ones. These ones will be in your memory for an awfully long time. Keep them all safe. This is a moment.”

Sugar-free peanut butter iced coffee

Usually I prefer normal coffee without any sweetener or added syrup.
To be honest I’m not the Starbucks kind of girl who orders a chocolate latte macchiato with caramel syrup and cream on the top.
But it doesn’t mean that time to time I don’t feel like trying something new and treating myself with something sweeter than the usual espresso. And when that’s the case, I like to do that without guilt.
How? Check out this delicious Sugar-free peanut butter iced coffee recipe! Easy, fast and doesn’t mess up your healthy lifestyle!;)

Missing pieces – Yoga

Danish pancakes

Danish pancakes

I have been thinking about this for a while.
I’m passionate about traveling and so much enjoy baking.
So, why not combinate the two and start a series of international baking?! This way, we can experience all the different kind of delicious sweets of different cultures in the warmth of our home. How does that sound?

And to start with something that is perfect as a weekend breakfast/brunch treat, I chose Danish pancakes.
